Workshops designed to gently support individuals and families through the grieving process.

Memory Collage
Honouring Loved Ones
 
Activity: Participants create a collage using photos, letters, fabric, or objects that remind them of their loved one. They can add drawings, poetry, or symbolic colours to express emotions.
Purpose: Helps participants process grief by visually honouring memories and feelings in a tangible way.

Expressive Painting
The Colours of Grief
 
Activity: Using acrylic or watercolour paints, participants explore their emotions through abstract painting, choosing colours and brushstrokes that represent their grief journey.
 
Purpose: Encourages nonverbal emotional expression and provides a meditative release of feelings.

Writing & Poetry Workshop
Letters Unsent
 
Activity: Participants write letters, poems, or short stories addressed to their lost loved ones or to grief itself. They can choose to read them aloud, burn them or keep them private.
 
Purpose: Provides a space for words that were left unsaid, promoting emotional healing through storytelling.

Candle Making

 For Remembrance

Activity: Participants create and decorate their own candles, infusing them with scents or colors that remind them of their loved one.


Purpose:
Lighting the candle can serve as a ritual of remembrance and connection.

Textile Tribute

Weaving Memories

Activity: Using fabric from meaningful clothing or textiles, we create a small weaving, quilt square, or felted piece to represent your journey through grief.

Purpose: A soothing action that can be therapeutic and connect to the past through tactile memory.

Kintsugi

Healing Through Broken Pieces

Activity: Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi (repairing broken pottery with gold), participants break and reassemble ceramic pieces, filling the cracks with gold paint.

Purpose: Symbolises healing, resilience, and finding beauty in brokenness.
